Hudson's 1932 Essex Terraplanes were assembled by the Canadian Top and Body Co. 

Formed in 1910 to manufacture auto tops, windshields and accessories, the company's premises were later used by the Hudson Motor Car Company of Canada to assemble its automobiles. 

By the thirties the company's name had changed to Canadian Top & Body Co. and it continued to make all Canadian Hudson Motors products until 1954.
