AIDS Clinical Trials Information Services (ACTIS)
An American Public Health Service collaborative project provided by NIAID, NLM, FDA, and CDC. It provides (toll-free) free, up-to-date information on clinical trials that evaluate experimental drugs and other therapies for adults and children with HIV infection and AIDS.
Canadian AIDS Society
A national coalition of over 100 community-based AIDS organizations across Canada. Dedicated to strengthening the response to HIV/AIDS across all sectors of society, and to enriching the lives of people and communities living with HIV/AIDS. Advocate on behalf of people and communities affected by HIV/AIDS, facilitate the development of programs, services and provide resources for member groups.
HIV/AIDS Treatment Information Network (Bilingual)
An independent, non-profit community-based organization partially funded by the Canadian government. Provides information on the treatment options available to people living with HIV/AIDS, including drugs, other medical treatments and complementary therapies. Carries information on symptoms, diagnosis, prevention, accessibility and treatment research. Provides information about AIDS services, clinical trials and other resources.
National AIDS Clearinghouse (Bilingual)
The largest document center on HIV/AIDS in Canada. Provides information on HIV/AIDS prevention, care and support to health care workers, schools, community based organizations, and to the general public. Information on the site is organized into six main areas: Publications, Policies, Programs and Services, Interests and Issues, News, Events, and links to other HIV/AIDS sites.
