Sexual Abuse of Males: Prevalence, Possible Lasting Effects, and Resources
This website is written by Dr. Jim Hopper, a psychologist who studies and treats victims of sexual abuse. It is an excellent site, a bit on the intellectual side, but it is worth the time spent on it. There is a section devoted to explaining how prevalence studies are done, and what to consider while studying them. There is also an article attached as a PDF file by Dr. David Lisak which, though a bit technical, is worth reading. Dr. Hopper's main message to men who are sexually abused as children is: you're not alone.
