This site is hosted by the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, a pediatric hospital operated from the University of Ottawa. Information provided by their BPD section includes a general overview of the disorder, symptoms, treatments and medications available, complications that can arise from BPD, nutritional and preventative information, and information on how to handle BPD emergencies. There is also provided a small compilation of credible links for further information about BPD and related complications.

Gaining and Growing
Gaining and Growing is a site hosted by the University of Washington, and is sponsored by the US Department of Health and Human Services. The bronchopulmonary dysplasia page provides nutritional information about infants with the disorder. Much of the information presented is more technical and therefore less suitable to a person with less knowledge of the medical terminology used.

National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute: Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia
The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute is a division of the National Institute of Health of America. This site is an online version of a publication in which they provide a large volume of information on bronchopulmonary dysplasia. Information provided includes an overview of the anatomy of the respiratory system followed by an introduction to, and a definition of bronchopulmonary dysplasia. Also provided is information regarding treatment of BPD, causes, treatments, its relation to respiratory distress syndrome, long and short term consequences of BPD, preventative measures, and an American survey of the cost of BPD on the American health system.

The Lung Association: Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia
The Canadian Lung Association provides an overview of bronchopulmonary dysplasia and information on the standard treatment procedures of the disorder. This site does not provide detailed information regarding bronchopulmonary dysplasia, but does provide a good foundation of knowledge to build upon.
