Breathe Easy – Common Cold
Breathe Easy is an online book written by Dr. Lawrence Martin, M.D. The chapter devoted to viral infections of the upper respiratory system includes an amount of information on the common cold. A general overview of the cold is presented, as well as treatment information, its symptoms, its effect on society, and its relation to the flu. The second half of the chapter focuses on the flu rather than the cold. Information presented is somewhat technical, but should still be of use to the average user.

Information offered is very straightforward and mostly includes different myths associated with the common cold, as well as general information about the causes of the common cold and how it is spread. A user with a strong base of knowledge about the common cold would likely not find much of use here, but it is definitely a good starting point for building a base of knowledge, and for general information.
